THE 3D LAUNCH SCHOLARSHIP

Upload up to five examples of creative work you are proud of. These can be anything that shows us how you think and what you care about. We welcome:

• 3D art or renders
• Drawings, sketches, or illustrations
• Animation or video
• Photography
• Sculpture or physical art
• Game environments or Roblox creations
• Any other personal creative projects

Work samples are not graded on technical skill alone. We are looking for creativity, personality, and potential. A sketchbook page that shows how your mind works can be just as compelling as a finished 3D render.

You do not need prior experience to apply. This scholarship is open to anyone with a genuine drive to create. We are looking for aspiring animators, game artists, and visual storytellers who are ready to commit to something real.

This scholarship is a great fit if you are:

• Someone who has always been drawn to characters, environments, or worlds and wants to learn how to build them
• A self-taught artist or hobbyist who wants structured professional training
• A gamer, illustrator, sculptor, photographer, or creative of any kind who is curious about 3D
• Someone who has been thinking about a career in games, film, animation, or visual effects and is finally ready to make a move
• Anyone 17 years of age or older who is ready to commit to a six-month full-time program

Grand Prize - One Full-Tuition Scholarship
One winner receives a completely paid seat in the Fall 2026 3D Animation & Visual Effects Diploma Program, valued at $20,995.

Runner-Up Awards - Three x $2,500 Scholarships
Three strong finalists who choose to enrol each receive a $2,500 scholarship toward their tuition.

All Qualified Applicants
Every qualified applicant receives an invitation to a free portfolio or career-direction consultation and a 3D Student for a Day session at Pixel Blue College.

Every application is reviewed by a member of the Pixel Blue team. We do not use automated scoring or filters. Real people review every submission from start to finish.

We are not looking for the most technically advanced artist in the pool. We are looking for the applicant who demonstrates the clearest combination of creative curiosity, personal drive, and genuine readiness to commit to the program. A compelling personal statement from someone with no formal experience will always outweigh a polished portfolio from someone who seems uncertain about their direction.

Applications are evaluated across five criteria:

A shortlist of strong applicants will be identified after the September 28 2026 application deadline . Shortlisted applicants may be contacted for a brief follow-up conversation before the final decision is made. Winner will be notified of the outcome by October 5, 2026.
