ABOUT GORD MONTGOMERY

gord-montgomery–
Gord Montgomery is an Edmonton-based designer, illustrator, and art director with nearly two decades of experience building brands, leading creative teams, and helping businesses communicate through design. As the founder of Gord Montgomery Design, he has worked across branding, advertising, editorial, illustration, and creative strategy — earning more than 50 industry awards including multiple ACE Awards, Anvil Awards, Ember Awards, and recognition in Strategy Magazine and Lürzer's Archive, one of the world's most respected publications for advertising and design.

Gord has spent his career navigating the same questions this talk is built around. He has worked in agencies, run his own independent practice, taken on art direction, built client relationships from scratch, and continuously evolved his skillset as the industry changed around him. He does not just talk about what it means to be an adaptive designer — he has lived it.
