To ensure the health and safety of our staff and students, Pixel Blue College has made the decision to temporarily suspend in-person classes and move to online learning and will return to in-person classes once it is safe to do so. While online classes might be a different style of education for some, Pixel Blue College worked diligently to ensure all the necessary tools, software, equipment, and online curriculums are in place for our students to receive the same level of education as you would with in-person classes. Please note that we have also extended the Holiday Break until January 7, 2022.

Vaccinations continue to be the primary public health measure in the fight against COVID-19. Effective September 20, 2021, Pixel Blue College will require all staff, students, and visitors to show evidence of having received two vaccine doses. Anyone medically exempt from vaccination will be required to take a COVID-19 rapid test and produce a negative COVID-19 result upon entry to the College. Anyone who does not show evidence of vaccination or who is not willing to take a COVID-19 rapid test will be denied entry.

Anyone present at Pixel Blue College will be required to wear a mask at all times and observe social distancing requirements.

Pixel Blue College's intention is to return to in-person learning as scheduled for Fall 2021 with these policies in place. As we have learned over the past 18 months COVID-19 can change our plans quite quickly and we will adapt our plans accordingly. We will continue to monitor the current situation in Alberta and the recommendations from the provincial government regarding public health measures and will make the required changes as needed.
